On the keyboard of life, always keep one finger on the escape key

Another day spent in office with more 'breaks' than work. For a change enjoying 'no work' like anything. With Amrit around and the three stooges who sit next to us, office is now a fun place.Couple of months back i was a complete workaholic taking breaks in between work but now for me it's working in between breaks. Sad news is that these golden days will get over in a week's time. Life gonna be bit hard but then that's life.

Still waiting for appraisal letters to be out. Not expecting much but hoping against all hope.HR Managers and PMs are hiding in the bunkers , playing with excel sheets and writing obituaries [...of associates]. Everyone is more excited to see other's appraisal rather then his or her own appraisal. And then there will be great cribbing sessions. Few of them will once again prove that barking dogs seldom bite :)

Signing off while listening to Green Day -> "time of your life"

Another turning point
a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist
directs you where to go
So make the best of this test
and don't ask why
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredicatable
but in the end it's rightI hope you had the time of your life"

Soaring in the sky on wings of hope

Got up pretty late at around 9 A.M.. Had to rush for SGI meeting. Few more rehearsals for the skit were done before noon. During the skit everyone performed so well. None of us had any prior stage/direction experience. We had just one thing with us and that was 'Self Belief'.

Also partcipated in the song 'Young Lions Of India' where i was asked to wave the SGI flag while singing (...shoulders are still paining but the pain is a sweet one! ).
Few lines from the song that are truly inspiring:
"....Standing alone courageosly
Bringing hope to one and all
Winning in our lives every day
We will fight no matter ....."

Evening went out for shopping with Amrit and Ashish to prove once more that i m a blady shopaholic.
But then it's not only me, i can see the whole india getting hit by the shopaholic virus.
Money has no value in today's world. Inside the mall it looked as if someone is shooting a movie 'MAD MAD MAD WORLD'.
Huge smile on shopping maniac faces looks as if they have won a million dollar lottery. In true terms we are not buying the clothes actually we are trying to buy 'Happiness'. Forgetting that it's just a relative happiness which will get over sooner or later.
Better we start soul searching and look out for absolute happiness before our soul expires !

Bzy weekend..No time to sleep.

Got dvd of the movie 'Khamosh Pani' starring Kiron Kher from my friend Amrit.
It's an awesome movie. Kiron is an excellent actress who can get into the skin of any character. Whether it's a role of a bengali or a punjabi or a muslim woman, she get it done with perfection. The beauty lies in her simplicity. Kiron is class apart. Her motherly tone can win anyone's heart.

Rest of the day was spent in doing the SGI Activities. SGI is a buddhist organization that works for Kosen rufu (or world peace). Tomorrow we all youth divison members will meet. I am directing a skit. Everyone giving his cent percent effort. Hope we all live upto the expectation.

Another serial bomb blast take place in Ahmedabad. There's a feeling of insecurity everywhere. No place looks like a safer one. More and more innocent people looses their life. Time has come that our indian govt. act swiftly and punish those who are responsible before its too late !!!

Another example of how far behind have we fallen in as a civilisation

25 July 08: Another serial Bomb blast happens in India. Bangalore is crying. But who cares. Life has no value in this country. Dirty politics is to be blamed. Politician's hardly care whats happening in the country. Again there will be a blame game which ends up in no result. Feel sorry for those who lost their life. Tomorrow again when Bangalore wakes up, bangalorites will get busy with their life and everyone will forget about this incident except the one who lost their loved ones. Our society, the place where we live in, has turned out to be a selfish one. We hardly think about others. If something wrong happens to the people who matter to us then only we raise our voices else follow the 'Keep mouth shut' policy. God bless us!!!

Eve: Had a wonderful dinner at Ohri's Banjara with Raghav and Ashish. Rag's will leave for London. Don't know when we will meet again. Will surely miss the grt moments spent with him. As it rains, Banjara Hills looking splendid. Biking during late night hours is full of fun. It's 03:00 A.M. and i need to get up early tomorrow so to make it to Birla Temple in time. Hope that couple of hours sleep works for me !
